APM Terminals Bahrain Strategic Partner at Sustainability Forum Middle East 2024
APM Terminals Bahrain participated as a Strategic Partner in the second edition of the Sustainability Forum Middle East, held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the theme "Achieving Net Zero – Pathways to Accelerating Implementation."
APM Terminals Bahrain Managing Director Matthew Luckhurst showcased ESG initiatives and decarbonization roadmap for Khalifa Bin Salman Port in the panel on "Public-Private Partnerships." Shedding light on the company’s ambitious decarbonisation projects including transforming Khalifa Bin Salman Port into the region’s first fully energy-sufficient seaport using solar power.
APM Terminals globally aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2040. As a subsidiary of A.P.
