APM Terminals Bahrain presents decarbonisation roadmap at TMS Transportation and Climate Change Conference

APM Terminals Bahrain made a positive impact at the inaugural TMS Transportation and Climate Change Conference held in Abu Dhabi this week.

CEO Matthew Luckhurst and CFO Farooq Zuberi showcased APM Terminals Bahrain's ESG initiatives and presented the company’s roadmap for decarbonization. The event served as the perfect platform to bring together different stakeholders and industry experts from across the region to discuss key business and climate change issues facing the Maritime and logistics industries.

As a subsidiary of A.P. Moller-Maersk, APM Terminals Bahrain is committed to leading the way in promoting sustainability within the maritime industry and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2040. The Solar project to be implemented at APM Terminals Bahrain will effectively make Khalifa Bin Salman Port the region’s first fully energy-sufficient seaport.
