Isa Al-Qetami

Mr. Al-Qetami heads the security for Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), operated by APM Terminals Bahrain and is also responsible for government relations. With his vast experience of 34 years in the government affairs sector, Mr. Al-Qetami has been instrumental in integrating port planning and operations, including commercial and financial with port security for effective coordination with government and private sector entities.

In his role at APM Terminals Bahrain since 2015, he has been responsible for developing the security department of Bahrain’s only commercial port by establishing and implementing comprehensive port security plans, associated policies/procedures and budgetary initiatives to further enhance port effectiveness.

Previously, Mr. Al-Qetami has worked with Bahrain Defense Force -Bahrain Royal Air Force specializing in the field of logistics and maintenance in aviation, where he retired at the rank of Colonel in 2014.
