APM Terminals Algeciras engages in CSR projects

At the beginning of December 2018, APM Terminals Algeciras celebrated its Social Action Awards Ceremony. In its fifth edition, the initiative awarded 11 social and sports projects, at the proposal of company employees, with a total amount of 50,000 euros.

The event took place at the terminal and counted again with the journalist María Quirós, from Onda Cero Algeciras radio, as a master of ceremonies.

The director of Institutional and Labour Relations of the company, Javier Sáez, thanked during the awards ceremony for the work of the associations in their social roles and highlighted the commitment of the workers demonstrated in each edition of the awards, sponsoring projects that put the focus on the needs of the local population.

The projects selected for the V Social Action Awards were very diverse, although primarily focused on helping children, people with disabilities, assisting organisations that help patients, assisting homeless people and those who take care of destitute people.
