APM Terminals Poti supports the University Scholarship Program for local students

APM Terminals Poti joined the scholarship programs of the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia and MAC Georgia (MacLaine Association for Children) last year, becoming a significant supporter of students.

Within the framework of these programs, and with financial support from the company, four young individuals from Poti are pursuing higher education at Georgian state universities.

The scholarship recipients were chosen based on their social status, scores on national exams, motivation letters, and interviews conducted during the first semester of last year.

Saba Mirtskhulava, a scholarship recipient from Poti, stated, "After being selected as one of the winners of the scholarship program announced for Poti students, I actively participated in the activities offered by the program. The scholarship fully covers university expenses and a portion of living costs, while also helping us expand our knowledge in various areas, including English courses."

Lana Ubilava, another scholarship recipient from Poti, stated, "I successfully passed the university entrance exams, and with the support of APM Terminals, I soon became a recipient of this scholarship program. This initiative helps students realize their potential, connects us with new people, and provides various courses tailored to our needs. For me, being a scholarship recipient in this program is a source of pride and an additional motivation!"

Currently, the project is supported by 26 companies that are members of the American Chamber of Commerce, and the total number of funded students exceeds 60.

Along with funding, the program will enable students to complete paid internships at member companies of the association and participate in professional training sessions and lectures.
