APM Terminals Elizabeth resumes operations

Dear Valued Customer,

We are pleased to inform you that, following the recent extension of the Master Contract between the International Longshoremen’s Association and the United States Maritime Alliance, Ltd., through January 15, 2025, APM Terminals Elizabeth will resume operations on Friday, October 4th, 2024.

We recognize the urgency of resuming cargo operations and want to assure you that our team is working diligently to restore services efficiently and safely.

Operational Continuation Plan:

Vessel Operations:
Resumes on Friday, October 4th at 7:00 PM. We encourage our steamship line partners to expedite the evacuation of empty containers to maximize empty return appointments for the trucking community and facilitate double moves at the gate.

Rail Operations:
Resumes on Friday, October 4th in the afternoon.

Gate Operations:
Resumes with a modified gate on Saturday, October 5th. The demurrage clock will also restart, per NYTC tariff, on this day for all cargo either within free time or already in demurrage prior to the work stoppage.

Gate Details:

• Saturday, October 5:
  Gate hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  (Reefers will be included in this modified gate. No exports or OOG.)
  Appointments will open by 9:00 AM on Friday, October 4th and will follow regular scheduling thereafter.
• Monday, October 7:
  Gate hours: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (regular hours).
