Effective April 22nd 2024, MSC is collecting demurrage for their Ocean Carrier portion directly from their customers. The Terminal demurrage portion is separate and will be visible/payable on PayCargo. When line demurrage is owed, containers will have line holds present and customers will need to satisfy the charges directly with MSC. Once cleared with MSC, they will submit the line hold release via EDI. To receive future operational alerts by email or SMS please subscribe to Terminal Alerts.

Pier400 Chassis Notification

Dear Trucking Community,

Chassis with markings “P-400” are for APM Terminals Pier400 use ONLY.

The APM Terminals Los Angeles facility has specially stenciled terminal chassis that are for use ONLY by Pier400 in terminal moves. There are markings of “P-400” in the areas where a person would normally see the chassis provider information. As APM Terminals is NOT a start/stop location for chassis, there should not be a time where drayage providers are attempting to use these chassis. Improper use of this equipment would result in suspension of drivers and/or usage fines.
