Export scan procedure
In order to continue improving the quality of our services, we want to make a reminder about the scanning operation process at APM Terminals Buenos Aires.
The scan request will be indicated by Customs at the time of entry (in the GATE). The carrier must go to the scanning area to carry out said operation, not being able to skip this process in any way.
Therefore, in order to comply with this procedure, we ask you to reinforce with your carrier that if you receive the scanner request at the time of entry, do so prior to unloading the container at the Terminal.
IMPORTANT: If you do not perform the correct scanning procedure upon entry, the Terminal will proceed to roll your cargo to the next Service Vessel and coordinate the scanning operation prior to the arrival of your new assigned Vessel.
We appreciate that you can relay this information to the operators in your logistics chain.
