Update - Extended opening hours at APM Terminals Aarhus

APM Terminals Aarhus has extended its opening hours from Monday to Thursday. We now offer access between 18:00 and 20:00, in addition to the existing operating hours. 

“Based on requests from the market, we have extended our opening hours Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 20:00,” says Helle Almind, Commercial Manager at APM Terminals Denmark.

“The extended opening hours are available with an appointment. The appointments can be made on the same day giving you full flexibility. In addition, it is a proactive move to even out the flow as preparation for the construction of the Marselis Tunnel and the ongoing road works on E45,” Helle Almind explains and continues:

"This extension offers greater flexibility for our customers while at the same time easing the operational pressure at the terminal, ultimately helping to minimize waiting times, and at the same time preparing for the future."

Strategic investments in operational enhancements

In recent years, APM Terminals Aarhus has made substantial investments to optimize terminal operations, focusing on critical upgrades such as our automated gate system. “These upgrades have enabled us to extend our opening hours while keeping additional costs for customers at a minimum”, Helle Almind concludes.
