COVID-19 Update

Dear Customer,

In connection with the current developments regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we would like to offer you an update on the situation in APM Terminals, Aarhus.

As the main gateway to Denmark, we are continuously in close contact with local and national authorities, following all the safety and security guidelines, to support cargo in and out of Denmark.

Our focus is on keeping our employees safe and securing undisrupted cargo flows through the terminals.

Following measures are taken to prepare ourselves and our business with you for the continued impact of the current situation.

Health and safety

We are offering all our employees highest protection and the working processes at the terminal are organised in a “contactless” manner to avoid any unnecessary interaction. All office employees are fully enabled to work remotely to secure business continuity, and we have strong and reliable IT systems and tools to support us.

Operations

Today, our terminal is running as usual and we are operating at full capacity. We have contingency plans, with the aim of mitigating any possible impact to our operational capacity, in place. Our contingency plans include for instance measures to secure safety of our employees and cargo flow, as well as extra manning, back up of multiskills for critical positions.

We have very dedicated employees working hard and doing their utmost to minimise impact and deliver the maximum capacity possible under these extraordinary circumstances, I am looking forward to further supporting your business needs.
