APM Terminals Spanish Gateways launches 3rd edition of its Social Action Awards
Deadline to submit projects for non-profit organisations is October 2nd for employees at the Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón and Gijón terminals
APM Terminals Spanish Gateways has launched the third edition of its Social Action Awards, an initiative that will contribute to the implementation of projects of non-profit organisations for sustainable, social, educational, sporting and cultural development, involving both the company and its employees.
With the launch, the clock starts ticking for employees of APM Terminals Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón and Gijón to check the terms and conditions for sponsoring projects at their chosen organisations, and to submit their nominations for the Social Action Awards. They have until October 2nd, when the jury will begin its work to choose the winners.
More than 12 award winning associations
During the second edition of the Social Action Awards, APM Terminals Spanish Gateways gave its support to the projects from seven associations: Galbán Association of families with cancer of the Principality of Asturias, Acavall Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Association of the Valencian Community, Associació Discapacitat Visual Catalunya, Asociación Síndrome de Menière España (Asmes), Veïns del Món and Aula de Debate Mujeres del Grao de Castellón. These projects join those of six other associations that received the award previously.
In this third edition, both the publication of the results and the presentation of the prizes will take place in December.
