New Terminal Operating System NAVIS 4 (N4)
Dear customers,
We inform you that as of next January 29th, APM Terminals Valencia will start operating with NAVIS 4 (N4) as Terminal Operating System in all its operations (maritime, land and rail).
This new system will optimize the management of the container handling in our terminal, as well as the standardization in the data transmission system.
We are contacting you to inform about the potential effects of this new operating system at the time of implementation:
- 18 hours of cut off operations are foreseen for the migration of data to N4. This will occur in the previous hours before the Go Live, between 8:00 p.m. on January 28th and 2:00 p.m. on January 29th.
- Improvements in productivity are expected when the System is definitively stabilized. However, it is possible that there will be alterations in the usual service during the first weeks of system implementation.
In the following days our operations department will contact you to review the requirements for the implementation of the new system.
For doubts or questions regarding the implementation of the N4 system, you can contact the following addresses: begona.llopis@apmterminals.com / zakariya.spannare@apmterminals.com
With the implementation of N4 Navis, APM terminals Valencia thus continues with its commitment to operational excellence.
We thank you in advance for your collaboration and we remain at your disposal for any questions.
