Your opinion about APM Terminals Maasvlakte II

A good score in quarter 1 of the customer satisfaction survey. In quarter 1 of 2026, 68 participants completed the customer satisfaction survey and rated our terminal with an average of 8.2! This is a great increase from the previous quarter.

Your opinion about our services is very important. We ask for your opinion in different ways. One of them being our customer satisfaction survey, which is held every quarter. The survey allows you to indicate your level of satisfaction with the terminal, your experiences with APM Terminals Maasvlakte II, what is missing and what could be improved.

We received valuable feedback. The Copino Tar is one of the mentioned improvement points. Traffic at the terminal is increasing and this is also seen in the number of full time slots. The survey also showed that linking a time slot does not always work well. Out IT team has since investigated this, and the biggest problem is adding a container to an already existing TAR code when a time slot (container quota) is full. Portbase indicates that the containers are linked, but in N4 there are 2 different TAR codes. We understand that this can be frustrating, so a suitable solution has been found. The team is currently working hard on implementing the solution, and we expect the problem to be resolved within a few weeks. 

Another point frequently mentioned in the research concerns the expected discharge time. There is a high demand for a clearer expected discharge time of a container. This information is being conveyed to Portbase. Our team is investigating how we can make this expected discharge time even more accurate for you.
