Your opinion about APM Terminals Maasvlakte II

Your opinion about our services is very important. We ask for your opinion in different ways. One of them being our customer satisfaction survey, which is held every quarter. The survey allows you to indicate your level of satisfaction with the terminal, your experiences with APM Terminals Maasvlakte II, what is missing and what could be improved.

In quarter 4 of 2023, 89 participants completed the customer satisfaction survey and rated our terminal with an average of 7.8! This is a slight increase from the previous quarter.

We received valuable feedback. The truck parking is one of the mentioned improvement points. After an unexpected outage, there is no clarity for drivers as to what is expected. This results in unstructured chaos, with a lot of frustration. A project team is currently working to improve the flow in the truck parking area. Here, in cooperation with various drivers, several solutions are being considered. Safety is the most important starting point for everyone.

Traffic at the terminal is increasing and this is also seen in the number of full time slots. The survey also showed that linking a time slot does not always work well. IT has since investigated this, and the biggest problem is adding a container to an already existing TAR code when a time slot (container quota) is full. Portbase indicates that the containers are linked, but in N4 there are 2 different TAR codes. To solve this problem, a suitable solution has been found. The solution is currently being tested.
