Successful ATT Demo Days at APMT MVII!

APM Terminals MVII organized two demo days for the Automated Terminal Turcks (ATTs). It was a true pleasure to welcome our stakeholders at the event location in our Waiting Area, where insights were provided into the results of the pilot. As part of the Autor Prime Mover pilot, the ATTs are being extensively tested at the terminal by our valued partners EasyMile and Embotech.

The ATTs will operate among regular traffic and are equipped with additional sensors to drive independently in a mixed traffic environment. Although the vehicles are suitable for driving without a driver, the safety drivers will always be present din the vehicle during the pilot. Drivers are expected not to react differently than in the current situation. It may happen that an ATT drives a little slower or is busy maneuvering near the lanes in the stack. This requires some patience. We would like to ask you not to do anything unexpected, do not overtake the vehicle and give the vehicle some space.

This pilot marks a significant step towards doubling capacity with the aim of achieving a more efficient and smoother operation for our customers. These fully automated, modern, lighter, and more agile vehicles will eventually replace some of the existing L-AGVs.
