Environment

Environmental management enables ACT to minimize its environmental footprint by conducting higher levels of activity with a lower environmental impact. It also creates significant value for ACT by reducing the consumption of energy and resources as well as reducing the cost of waste management.

Environmental policy

Protecting the environment is a high priority in all our activities. We constantly monitor and reduce our CO2 emissions, hazardous waste, oil spillages, and energy consumption.

Our objective is to conserve natural resources and the existing natural marine environment and, where possible, repair damage as much as we can. We are dedicated to the efficient and responsible use of energy and materials and comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations, as well as ethical standards.

Environmental Report

The aim of the environmental report is to provide information to the public and other interested parties regarding the environmental impact and performance of the terminals’ major environmental aspects, and may be regarded as a major communication tool with said parties. The report includes references to continual improvement of environmental performance of both the organization itself and the environmental quality.
