PROPOSED MARITIME WORKERS UNION OF NIGERIA STRIKE ACTION
Dear Esteemed Customer,
We have been informed that the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) may initiate an indefinitely industrial action on Monday 5th June 2023 over dispute with the management of shipping companies. The MWUN industrial action could result in the shutdown of ports across the country including the Onne Port, hence this may impact our operations at WACT.
All Customers are encouraged to expedite their import delivery process ahead of the commencement of the industrial action on Monday 5th June 2023. Our customer service unit will be available on Saturday 3rd June to issue TDOs and support gate deliveries.
