APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is continuously working on improving the truck handling to make our truck handling safer and faster.

Faster Truck Turn around Time
One of the improvements is that the stack crane determines more accurately where to put down the container on the chassis. This means in case when you pick up a container, the process will be executed more often via the automated system and you have your container even faster on your chassis. This improvement contributes to a faster Truck Turn around Time, which is decreased with an average of 1 minute. Currently this improvement is being implemented on all landside stack cranes and is expected to be ready at the end of quarter 3 this year.

Request: Do not take a break in the stack lanes
One of the most annoying things is unnecessarily waiting when you pick up or drop off your container. We have noticed that several truck drivers are taking a break in the stack, with the result that other truck drivers must wait longer than necessary before they can enter the stack. Therefore, we ask you to take your break elsewhere, for example in the parking area at the beginning of our terminal.
