No shortage of treats with APM Terminals

Little did we know – when we launched our cookie tin design competition many years ago – that APM Terminals cookies would become something of an institution. The annual treat of Danish cookies – delivered in a fetching, unique tin – puts one in mind of the containerised goods and products we handle with dedication for all our customers: year in, year out.

When it comes to designing the tin, who better to turn to than our 20,000+ colleagues from around the world? Our annual cookie tin design competition sparks the creativity and displays the talents of our workforce, including the exceptional abilities of this year's winner.

One of our talented crane operators, Walter Ramirez knows all about lifting standards of efficiency and reliability, while prioritising safety, of course. He appreciates the beauty in the smooth, seemingly effortless movements which culminate in synchronised delivery for our customers.

A keen amateur photographer, Walter captured this stunning photograph at APM Terminals Quetzal in Guatemala when he arrived to work at the terminal following a storm. His photo portrays the elegance of our steely blue terminal assets against the night sky and the steely determination with which we operate day and night to delight our customers, and theirs.

Walter has frozen in time a scene which is played out at all our 60 terminals world wide. In it, the stage is set for the evening performance, all the actors are perfectly positioned, and the show is, as always, right on time.
