APM Terminals Gothenburg welcomes Mathias Weismann Paulsen as new Chief Commercial Officer for APM Terminals Nordic

APM Terminals Gothenburg is pleased to announce that Mathias Weismann Paulsen has taken on the role of Chief Commercial Officer for APM Terminals Nordic since 1st November. With over 16 years of experience within the Maersk Group, including recent years as Commercial Manager at APM Terminals in Aqaba, Jordan, Mathias will now be responsible for developing the commercial strategy and strengthening customer relationships in the Nordics.

Mathias has a solid background in the shipping industry and has worked at several global container terminals, which has given him a deep understanding of customer needs and the opportunities and challenges of today’s global logistics landscape.

“APM Terminals Gothenburg is already an extremely competitive terminal with both transocean connections and feeder traffic to the continent. The strong market position is a fantastic foundation to build upon while continuing to support the development of the Port of Gothenburg as a key hub for international trade”, says Mathias.

He adds, “My goal is to forge even stronger relationships with our customers by enhancing our offerings. I firmly believe that a robust port with an extensive network, both nationally and globally, generates value for both businesses and society.”

Mathias also places significant emphasis on advancing APM Terminals’ sustainability efforts, with a particular focus on reducing CO2 emissions and fostering long-term sustainable logistics solutions.
