Swedish Customs introducing new regulations for exporting goods outside the EU
From 1 October, Swedish Customs will introduce a new system for handling the export procedure. This means that as an exporter, you must declare goods for export through Swedish Customs' new export system, AES.
What does the new system mean for APM Terminal’s customers?
The new system consists of three steps: export declaration, presentation of goods to the office of exit (notification IE507) and exit notification of goods. Notification IE507 shall be sent when the goods have arrived at the location of exit. This notification is not managed by APM Terminals.
In notification IE507, a code for An approved exit location shall be specified. The location code for APM Terminals in Gothenburg is GO8F. APM Terminals has received a permit as an approved exit location. As an exporter, you do not need to submit your own application to Swedish Customs for exit from our terminal.
