90 trains a week to pass through APM Terminals Gothenburg

Since Train Plan 23 and the Swedish Transport Administration’s new planning system were introduced, train traffic hasn't exactly been gliding along the tracks. Nevertheless, APM Terminals and our customers are now looking towards a bright future with significantly fewer challenges and an even broader railway network.

"We have strong faith in the railways and we're still seeing great interest in driving trains to APM Terminals Gothenburg. Customers who currently have a train solution have no plans to change, and new customers are constantly being added," says Svante Altås, railway expert and senior salesperson at APM Terminals Gothenburg, and continues:

"Under Train Plan 24, we're planning 90 trains a week, two of which are completely new destinations. It's a huge advantage for Sweden’s business community that the already large railway network is growing."

Thank you to all players for their hard work with Train Plan 23

APM Terminals Gothenburg would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has ensured that essential rail traffic has been able to continue, despite all the challenges of Train Plan 23.

"A lot of people in the railway business have been working around the clock to find solutions. These efforts have made a big difference, and at APM Terminals, we've made our contribution by offering maximum flexibility. It’s nice to see how all players are working together to safeguard our sustainable inland logistics".
