Measuring truck tyre pressure at the terminal

It is important for all of us that trucks are on the road with the correct tyre pressure. Incidents with major safety risks could otherwise be the result. As APM Terminals Maasvlakte II, we like to contribute to a safe environment. That is why we offer the possibility to quickly check the tyre pressure of your truck for free. The 'free tyre check' is located when you leave the terminal at the security entrance and is integrated into the ground with sensors. The truck can drive at low speed in this area and then a smiley will show you if the tyre pressure is correct. This way, you can safely drive on to your final destination. The meter was an initiative of the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
