COVID Update: Empty containers and early deliveries

We would like to offer you our latest update on the outbreak of COVID-19 and relevant impact to APM Terminals Maasvlakte II.

General Status

We are fully operational and have adopted the safety measures and protocols outlined by APM Terminals and local authorities. Temporarily precautionary measures are in place to manage yard density due to irregular container pick-up and delivery.

Vessel Operations

• Operating as usual

Cargo acceptance and storage

• Under control but precautionary measures in place for cargo acceptance (see below).

Cargo pick up & delivery

• Empty containers: terminal cannot accept empties from 23/07h00 onwards for gate and 23/23h00 onwards for barges and rail.
• Early gate-in: terminal cannot accept containers delivered prior to gate-in time.
• All other container pick and delivery as normal.
