Meeting with Logistics sector representatives
USAID's Middle Corridor Transportation and Logistics Program in partnership with APM Terminals Poti held a meeting with terminal representatives operating in Poti.
The representatives of the terminals discussed the need for increased cooperation among themselves, as well as the necessity for the digitalization of the port and terminals. This collaboration while sharing a common vision will be crucial to develop Poti into one of the main Logistics Hubs for the Caucasus and Central Asia regions.
The representative from Kaleris introduced the terminal digitization platform to the meeting participants, which will significantly simplify logistics operations in Poti.
The Program will systematically conduct similar workshops and maintain close, needs-based collaboration with the sector.
