APM Terminals Poti plays an important role in linking Central Asia to Europe

APM Terminals Poti provides high-quality rail and sea connectivity services, playing a crucial role in linking Central Asia to Europe through Poti, Georgia.

Through recently upgraded rail infrastructure, in partnership with Sofmar - Agency, Forwarding & Transportation, the Port received the first shipment of cargo in "big bags" from Central Asia, which was containerized at Poti Port and shipped to Europe.

This long-term customer project involves the provision of train handling, cargo storage, container stuffing, and vessel operation services, demonstrating Poti's strategic importance as an efficient multimodal hub bridging the continents.
