Truck Appointment System (TAS)

We know that time is precious. That’s why we’re on a mission to eliminate every wasted second and maximise every minute. Our global Truck Appointment System (TAS) hands you the controls so that you can book, merge and reschedule slots to drop off and pick up containers. With a pre-scheduled pick up, your container will be waiting for you on arrival, not the other way around.

TAS offers a fixed number of appointments for each time slot. The number of appointments available is determined by the availability of people and equipment at the terminal and by customer demand. The slots are colour-coded, so you can easily identify busier and quieter times at the terminal. Spreading terminal visits evenly across the day reduces traffic at the gate and in the terminal. Pick-up and drop-off is guaranteed during your chosen time slot for the fastest possible turnaround.

How does it work?

Accessing TAS couldn’t be easier…

  1. If you don’t already have an apmterminals.com account, create one here.
  2. Use the Open Truck Appointment System link at the top of this page on the right.  
    On your first visit, you’ll be prompted to request permission to access TAS.
  3. The Truck Appointment System is very intuitive, but for a quick tutorial, see the video above.
  4. Further instructions and training sessions can be provided by the Customer Service team at your terminal if required.
