APM Terminals Pipavav receives first full reefer rake from ICD Viramgam

APM Terminals Pipavav is excited to have received the first full reefer rake from the Viramgam Inland Container Depot (ICD) located in the Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Operated by Gateway Rail Freight Ltd., the reefer train is aptly known as “The Maersk Processed Food Express” and carried agro-based commodities from Gujarat to be exported to South East Asia. Offering a safe and quick passage of frozen food from Ahmedabad and nearby areas to global markets, the service will be a boon for agro based exporters from Gujarat. APM Terminals Pipavav is thrilled to be a part of a logistics supply chain for ‘Made in India’ products from Gujarat to the world.

The flagging off ceremony was graced by Mr. Ashok Pandey & Mr. Bhumik Bhatt from Gateway Rail. Senior executives from Maersk & APM Terminals Pipavav were also present.
