APM Terminals Pipavav certified as a Great place to work

We are delighted to share that APM Terminals Pipavav is recognized and certified as a "Great Place to Work" under the category: Small and Mid-size Organizations, for the second consecutive year by the Great Place to Work® Institute. This is the testament to our inclusive and transparent work culture built over time by constant communication and by living our values.

Every year, more than 10,000 organizations across 60 countries apply to get Great Place to Work–Certified. The participating organizations are assessed through a multi-pronged approach where the employees answer an online survey. A sample size of employees across the levels is interviewed for first hand feedback on how they feel about the organization and its policies. 

There is also a detailed analysis of the people policies and benefits which is done through the website of this institute. So, this kind of a certification takes a holistic view of the employee experience in the organization.

The Trust Index model of this institute is a well-researched and consistent over time across geographies and demographics. In this, A Great Workplace is defined as one, where Employees:

Some of the company’s key strengths identified by the review were the fact ‘That people feel proud to work here.’ They are free to be themselves and contribute positively. The majority of the employees expressed ‘A strong desire to continue working for the organisation.’ 

At the same time, the review also highlighted a small number of areas that the company will now work hard to address, such as creating more fairness of treatment, better people assignment and coordination, and having better and unique employee benefits.
