APM Terminals Mumbai implements new data lake system

Data is at the heart of organisation. Data protection and control is of prime importance for smooth terminal operations. As a part of our vision of “Safer Better Bigger”, APM Terminals Mumbai [GTI] is proud to be the first terminal in APM Terminals to launch the Data lake in collaboration with global data analytics.

Data lake is a globally connected and distributed cloud-based data platform with standard set of tools and technologies. Moving the data on the cloud will help the terminal lower costs, reduce duplication, and improve data protection and control. This in turn will increase the efficiency of the terminal.

The GTI data lake was launched by Mr. Sunay Mukerjee -COO, Mr. Rajib Bhowal – CEO and Mr. Sesh Rangarajan – Data Leader of APMT. With the launch of data lake, GTI is leading the way in data protection and control for the terminal.
