Advisory: Waiver on terminal charges for specific containers

This is with reference to directions issued by Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India (Ref. No.: PD-12019/31/2021-PD-IV). 
 
In order to further support the efforts towards handling the ongoing crisis in India, the terminal shall extend a waiver on all handling and storage charges associated with import containers bringing in cargo such as Medical Grade Oxygen, Oxygen Tanks, Oxygen bottles, Portable Oxygen Generators, Oxygen Concentrators, Steel Pipes for manufacturing Oxygen Cylinders and associated equipment.
 
The invoices pertaining to the import containers with aforementioned cargo shall be generated as per practise, however the associated charges of such containers shall be waived upon sharing of relevant declaration by the concerned shipping line or agent that the container is carrying the cargo scheduled as above, along with BL details.
 
The above measures shall remain in effect on all such containers handled between 25th April 2021 to 24th July 2021.
