Trailer driver fatigue

Trailer drivers play an integral role in ensuring that the cargo flow remains ongoing between the terminal and complimentary container depots such as Containerised Freight Stations, ICDs, warehouses and cargo-owner locations. It is important that these individuals are cared for and well trained to help them discharge their role safely.

We request you to ensure that the drivers deployed by you/ your representatives or channel partners get adequate rest and report to the terminal devoid of fatigue. Container terminal, as you all shall agree, are facilities where heavy cargo is handled using heavy equipment and thus people accessing such facilities must be alert to ensure safe operations.
