Rail: Pre-advice containers
Dear Valued Clients,
Greetings from APM Terminals Mumbai!
As you all are aware, export containers arriving in the terminal by rail mode are pre-advised through Form-11.
In order to maintain data integrity and system efficiency, this is to advise you all that pre-advice updated as per Form 11 shall get deleted if the container does not arrive within 15 days of pre-advice up-date. Thus, any container arriving after pre-advice deletion, i.e. more than 15 days after initial pre-advise will be treated as “no match container”.
In case of no changes expected in the advise shared through Form-11 and to avoid the containers being reflected in “no match”, you are requested to reach out to the Rail desk on the 14th day to advise deletion of such containers and re-update with fresh pre-advise.
