Waiver on specific terminal charges

Dear Valued Clients,

The ongoing COVID 19 situation has impacted movement of cargo at the Terminal.

With reference to Order passed by Ministry of Shipping bearing ref. No.: PD-14033/4/2020-PD VII dated 21^st April 2020, we hereby extend the following relief given to customers vide our Advisory dated 10^th April 2020:

• Port Ground Rent on import containers: APM Terminals Mumbai shall waive off all storage charges applicable on import containers between 22^nd March 2020 and 3^rd May 2020, both days inclusive.
• Port Ground Rent on export containers: APM Terminals Mumbai shall waive off all storage charges applicable on export containers between 22^nd March 2020 and 3^rd May 2020, both days inclusive.

Further to the above, in order to support the trade, APM Terminals Mumbai shall further extend the following waivers:

• Change in Mode of Transport: APM Terminals Mumbai shall waive off charges towards change of mode of transport applicable on import containers post discharge for all such changes effected between 22^nd March 2020 and 3^rd May 2020, both days inclusive.
• DPD: Additional shifting charges levied on DPD containers after 48 hours between 22^nd March 2020 and 3^rd May 2020 (both days inclusive), shall be waived.

Delivery will be made basis positive PDA only. Please be advised that the waiver extended shall reflect through credit notes in the ledger and the said credit notes will be processed in the months of April / May 2020. 

We further state that yard health and thus yard inventory remains critical to terminal operations. We solicit your co-operation towards ensuring early evacuation of import containers to enable us to continue with terminal operations and deliver seamless terminal services to India’s EXIM trade.

As the situation remains dynamic, we continue to monitor the situation carefully and reserve to right to withdraw / amend the above waiver.
