Crew Change - COVID 19

Greetings from APM Terminals Mumbai!

This is to inform you that to manage the terminal operations during the ongoing COVID 19 situation, request your support to follow the below mentioned process on vessel Crew change:

• As far as possible, please avoid sign on /off process at GTI
• Share 24 hr advance information on vessel or after last port of call over number of crew changes with the terminal Shift Manager along with movement plan from vessel to outside terminal.
• All copies of approvals received from Marine/ Port Health Officer/ Masters declaration to be shared with the terminal Shift Manager.
• Provide requisite PPEs to the crew of vessel arriving from affected ports as per directive of DG shipping.
• Sanitize gangway/railings or common areas on vessel after crew disembarks.
• Crew and Agent accompanying the sign on/off Crew should maintain physical distancing from terminal staff and contractual staff at terminal/wharf/while on board and should use approved Masks, protective gears.
• Disembarkation/embarkation of crew to be carried out in batches of one or two crew to avoid over crowding.
• Duty Shift Manager shall remain the Single point of contact for assistance in this regard.
• Terminal Security at the ODC gate shall verify shore passes as the crew exits.
• Unaccompanied crew will not be permitted transit. Line representative/husbanding agent should accompany at all times.
