Rail HAZMAT Placarding Notice

Dear Customer,

This is a friendly reminder to ensure that IMDG/Hazmat placards on any rail-bound cargo is placed high enough on container sides to ensure they are visible when containers are loaded into rail cars. This is especially important for 20ft. containers as they are always stowed on the bottom of rail cars.

Ensuring that hazmat placards are properly affixed as high as possible on container sides will avoid the need for re-placarding and potential cargo delays at respective rail ramps.
