APM Terminals Elizabeth announces new leader

APM Terminals Elizabeth announces the appointment of Henrik Kristensen as Managing Director of APM Terminals Elizabeth, New Jersey USA effective May 2022.

Henrik was previously Head of APM Terminals Global Operations in The Hague, Netherlands headquarters and succeeds Jon Poelma who was appointed Managing Director of APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles, California.

Henrik brings extensive international leadership experience in port operations, labor, safety and inland logistics helping customers and business partners succeed through a competitive, safe and integrated port ecosystem. Career highlights include Managing Director, APM Terminals Gothenburg; Head of Global HSSE, APM Terminals in The Hague, The Netherlands; Terminal Manager, APM Terminals Aarhus; Director of Operations, Gioia Tauro, Italy; Line and Operations Manager, Maersk Mexico and Captain in the Maersk container fleet.
