Customer Advisory Mandatory Scanning of Transfer Containers from WACT to Bonded Terminals
Dear Esteemed Customer,
Please be informed that the Nigeria Customs Service has directed that all containers going to bonded terminals must now be scanned before leaving WACT.
In view of this directive, please be informed that scanning of the category of release, would commence from Monday 26th of June 2023 between 8am to 10am. All trucks coming for the delivery of their cargo under this category, can only scan their containers within the available time frame. Any truck that has been loaded but could not be scanned within the window, would be offloaded and truck exited
with all necessary charges being applied on the container(s). This also applies to trucks that could not be loaded before the expiration of the window.
To avoid breakdown of trucks at the scanning site, we advise that you always provide reliable trucks for the delivery of your container(s). Please note that any delay caused by truck breakdown, customers would bear the necessary charges associated with the breakdown.
We count on your continuous support and understanding.
