APM Terminals Liberia supports the people of Liberia

In its continued fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic, last week APM Terminals Liberia Ltd. donated 1,000 bags of rice to the Government and people of Liberia through the Liberia National Youth Task Force on COVID-19, Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The pandemic has hit Liberia’s economy in a devastating way, resulting in an increasing lack of food and other basic commodities for citizens who have temporarily lost their income.

Speaking on behalf of APM Terminals Liberia at the donation ceremony, APMT Liberia’s Managing Director, George Adjei said that, “as responsible corporate citizens, it is our responsibility and determination to join in this national cause and play an active role in the fight against COVID-19”.

APM Terminals Liberia assured the Government and people of Liberia that they have a partner during this crisis, and we are all in this together to win.

The donation was welcomed by the Government and was stressed that the supplies were going to be used for the intended purpose.
