APM Terminals Liberia supports the community to prevent the spread of Coronavirus

In view of the compromised nature of Liberia’s health infrastructure, the fight against the spread of the Corona virus is waged by activating preventive measures, among other interventions. 

As responsible corporate citizens, APM Terminals Liberia has moved their focus beyond the terminal boundaries to engage and work with the community leadership of District 13 (home to the Port of Monrovia) to increase COVID-19 awareness and run preventive programmes aimed at stemming the spread of the virus. 

This involves the installation of hand washing stations and the provision of emergency sanitation supplies to the citizens of District 13. In collaboration with community leaders, the hand washing stations have been located at vantage positions within the communities to ensure maximum usage.
