Availability of Additional Appointment Slots for Gate-out Delivery on Weekdays

Dear Valued Customers,

In continuation to advisory dated 8^th June 2020 Ref: COMM/023/2020, wherein Appointment slots were extended for delivery over weekends and public holidays, we are pleased to announce additional three (3) extra hours to the service coverage on weekdays.

Effective Sunday 28^th June 2020, customers can book import gate-out containers between 04:00 – 20:00 hours (last slot will be from 19:00-20:00 hours) during weekdays (Saturday-Thursday) and on weekends and public holidays between 08:00 – 16:00 hours (last slot will be 15:00 – 16:00 hours). We seek customers support in utilizing the extended three (3) extra hours appointment slots from 17:00 to 20:00 hours. This will help flatten the demand curve over the day, thereby improving service delivery.

Meanwhile, we request you to continue planning the booking of bulk lots of import containers by pre-notifying us with the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and Bill of Lading details of your import shipments, as described in Advisory dated 08 June 2020 Ref: COMM/023/2020.

These additional measures have been introduced based on a collaborative dialogue with Trade and with support from Ports and Maritime Affairs and the Customs Affairs.

We also take this opportunity to remind our customers to use appropriate COVID-19 preventive Personal Protective Equipment (Face Mask and Hand Gloves) and maintain social distancing norms at all times. Failure to comply with these requirements at the Terminal Premises, shall result in port access being restricted and/or services being denied.
