Decarbonisation

As a part of our global commitment to a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2040, a Decarbonisation roadmap has been set out based on three focus areas to achieve the mission:

Energy Consumption

Deploy technology and industry-leading best practices to continuously optimize the way ACT consumes electricity across the entire terminal.

Electrification

In order to phase out the use of nonrenewable energy, ACT plans to electrify equipment and carry out necessary civil works.

Renewable Energy

Increase access to renewables and secure a local supply of clean energy, with an important step being the expansion of on-site solar installation.

This is the first project of its kind in our industry in the region and a huge step toward unlocking a more sustainable tomorrow together.
