Customer Advisory No. 551 - Compliance with Resolution 000097 from the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN)

Dear members of the port community,

We would like to inform you that, starting today, June 7, 2024, we will comply with Resolution 000097 issued by the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) on June 6, 2024. This resolution establishes new requirements for operations from the free trade zone to destinations worldwide.

Instructions for Compliance:

• Export cargoes entering our facilities from a free trade zone must present the Shipment Authorization Request (SAE) upon entry. This request must meet the conditions and requirements set by the DIAN in accordance with Decree 1165.

Exceptions:

• This measure does not apply to cargoes dispatched from the free trade zone before the resolution takes effect.

It is implemented in compliance with the new customs statute 0659 of May 22, 2024, Article 52, and Resolution 000097 of June 6, 2024, Article 1.
