Appreciation for drivers on the ‘Day of the Truckdriver’

On Tuesday, December 12, we celebrated the Day of the Truckdriver. A day on which we reflect on the hard work and dedication of truck drivers. Everyday they play a crucial role in the logistics chain. APMT MVII showed its appreciation by treating the drivers at our terminal with a cookie and something to drink.

In addition, a competition was organized with the question: “What is the number of remote connections over the past year so far?” (landside truck operations). The opinions were divided on this. One driver never experiences a remote connection and the other ‘every time’ he comes to the terminal. This resulted in many interesting conversations, but also with the many APMT MVII employees who stopped by the stand.

What was the correct answer in the end? 36,149 remote connections! We received a total of 72 answers, and our winner was very close with 36,500 remote connections! There were several prizes to win: watch with a Remote Stack Operator, a terminal tour with the family and a goodie bag from APMT MVII. We have contacted the 14 winners and have already made many drivers happy with a goodie bag!
