APM Terminals Spanish Gateways makes a final push to stop bottled water consumption

Nothing goes to waste is the theme of this year's Go Green initiative

APM Terminals Spanish Gateways has given the final push to stop drinking bottled water at its facilities during the Go Green week. An initiative that this year has been celebrated with the slogan ‘Nothing goes to waste’, which has involved employees of the terminals of Valencia, Barcelona and Gijón in an intense agenda of activities. Among them, katakaizens to change routines to encourage the use of the installed water fountains.

During this year's Go Green, linked to World Environment Day and World Oceans Day, staff from the terminals were taken to discover the coastal ecosystem by sailboat with Barcelona Nautical Capital Foundation; to share actions linked to decarbonisation with the Port Authority of Valencia, and to visit waste transfer centres to learn about the journey of the waste segregated at the terminals.
