APM Terminals Algeciras donates the amount of its Christmas lunch to the Food Bank

The NGO will distribute resources in the Campo de Gibraltar to meet the economic needs that have arisen as a result of the pandemic.

APM Terminals Algeciras has decided to donate the budget of employees’ Christmas lunch celebration to the Food Bank, to meet the special needs of the users of the associations of the eight municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar to the what supplies.

Like other companies, the company would have held its traditional Christmas meeting with employees these days, but the restrictions and recommendations of the health authorities have led to its cancellation. However, APM Terminals Algeciras has not wanted the appointment to pass without further ado, and has decided to hand over its amount to the Food Bank, one of the associations in the Campo de Gibraltar area that has noticed most the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in their number of users and in the complicated situations they go through.

This association was also one of the winners together with Nuevo Hogar Betania and Caritas Parroquial in the latest edition of the Social Action Awards, which APM Terminals Algeciras advanced to meet the special needs of the groups in the area.
