APM Terminals Tangier aims to operate sustainably i.e. creating shared value and ensuring long-term business success through enabling positive economic and social development while contributing to a healthy environment and a stable society.

Concrete actions have been set up to integrate sustainability into business processes. We take an active role to give back to our neighbours and create a brighter future. These include:

Annual GoGreen campaign

We use this to launch environmental initiatives. In 2017 we used the occasion for the reforestation of 22 ha of a neighbouring forest. 

Single Mums

We take every opportunity to provide equal opportunities for all. This includes supporting single mums with training to help them integrate into the labour market. 

Local Beach Programme

We run an ongoing annual program to upgrade a local beach, and improve environmental awareness among beach users. The beach we support has been rated ‘Blue Label’ since 2016.
