APM Terminals Progreso launches new container locator and tracking application

• New smartphone App allows you to follow and track the location of containers and their arrival at the port at any time and from anywhere.

APM Terminals Mexico has launched its new digital smartphone application for locating and tracking containers, designed to offer its customers greater visibility and control over their logistics operations in the Port of Progreso, Yucatan.

The application, which has been available to APM Terminal Lázaro Cárdenas customers since 2017, is developed with the most advanced tracking technology and now allows APM Terminals Progreso customers to know the location, status and details of each container in real time from their smartphone.

This tool provides a series of benefits for shipping companies, customs brokers and carriers, including:

At the Progreso Terminal, Yucatan, this tool allows the monitoring of containers, while at the Lázaro Cárdenas Terminal it also offers the additional possibility of making service requests, accessing invoices and being able to monitor customer operations in real time, as well as receiving alerts about requests and arrival of shipments.
