Middle Corridor: challenges and opportunities

The annual Black Sea Platform Conference was convened by the EU-Georgia Business Council with the support of the USAID Economic Governance Program. The participants of the conference discussed the challenges and opportunities related to the effective functioning of the Middle Corridor.

Specific projects and reforms that will facilitate trade with the EU via the Black Sea and strengthen interconnections were put under special focus. APM Terminals remains committed to the Middle Corridor and improving the capacity and services offered in Poti, Georgia.

Georgia has a unique opportunity to become the regional Hub for the Caucasus and Central Asia and APM Terminals wants to build the necessary infrastructure and support with the process improvement to make it an even more attractive branch of the Middle Corridor.
