Changes to parking locations and parking charges

Kindly be informed that in order to ensure the safety and unhindered movement of people, vehicles, equipments, cargo and property of the company or third parties within the territory and for the purpose of settling/arranging a parking lot, JSC Poti Sea Port Corporation (APM Terminals Poti) (I/C: 215080999) is planning to change the location of the closed parking to the parking lot adjacent to (in front) the Container Yard administrative building (address: Poti, Georgia. 38, Javakhishvili St.) to prepare the space for chargeable parking system arrangement.

Paid parking

Implementation of a fee-based parking system will be completed as of March 2024. Furthermore, information about the rules for using the fee-based parking lot will be made publicly available (including for you) afterwards.

Within the framework of the project, the existing closed free parking lot, which is used only by the Port employees and others working in the administrative building of CY, will be moved to the side of the administrative building (to the front lane) and Information about updated conditions will be provided to interested parties at a later date.

Vehicle removal

Prior to implementing the above-stated changes, it is vital to clear the entire territory of those vehicles that have been parked for a long time (both in open and closed parking lots)/on the territory owned by the Port, without an agreement with the Port.

Considering all the above stated, you are kindly expected to transfer/move the vehicles (if any) at your possession /ownership/ control (not vehicles intended for daily personal use) to another (non-port owned) area no later than February 15 (fifteen) 2024. Otherwise, we reserve the right, if necessary and possible, to move such vehicles from the territory belonging to the Port to another/adjacent fee-based parking lot(s) by our own forces, which means that before releasing the vehicle from another parking lot, you’ll have to pay the appropriate fee to the owner(s) of the fee-based parking lot.

Moreover, JSC Poti Sea Port Corporation disclaims all responsibility for damage or destruction of vehicles during transportation or parking period at other parking lots and for additional costs/damage incurred by proprietors/ owners (as well as currently not bears responsibility for the cited vehicles).

Forwarding companies are requested to immediately share this information with the relevant vehicle owners.
